Spaces & projects

A Space is a virtual workspace that can be shared. A project is a way to organize your work within spaces and contains all of your notebooks, folders, and files.

Spaces

Spaces are virtual workspaces that contain projects. Spaces give you the ability to share and organize multiple projects in one central location.
All Noteable users start with one default personal space.

Create spaces

  1. 1.
    Select the Create button from the menu of any space or project.
  2. 2.
    Select
    Space.
  3. 3.
    Pick a Space for the project.
  4. 4.
    Enter the Space Description.
  5. 5.
    Click Create.

Manage spaces

To edit, delete, or share a space:

To edit the settings for a space:
  1. 1.
    Go to the space.
  2. 2.
    Click on the gear icon (
    ) in the top right.
  3. 3.
    Click Edit and change the name or description.
  4. 4.
    Click Save.
To delete a space (including all projects and files):
  1. 1.
    Go to the space.
  2. 2.
    Click on the gear icon (
    ) in the top right.
  3. 3.
    Click Manage Space.
  4. 4.
    Click
    Delete space and confirm selection.
To join a Space, you'll have to receive an invite from a Space owner. See Collaborate with spaces & projects

Projects

Projects live within spaces and contain all of your notebooks and data. They can be shared with other users in your organization or they can be private.

To edit the settings for a project:

    Go to the project.
  2. 2.
    Click on the gear icon (
    ) in the top right.
  3. 3.
    Click Edit and change the name or description.
  4. 4.
    Click Save.
To delete a project including all notebooks and files:
  1. 1.
    Go to the project.
  2. 2.
    Click on the gear icon (
    ) in the top right.
  3. 3.
    Click Manage Project.
  4. 4.
    Click
    Delete Project and confirm selection.
